As we head into spring, I will be looking forward to seeing the
maples in the back yard start putting on their show. While we don't
have the sugar maples that make fall in the Northeastern United
States so spectacular, our trees are still quite pretty. They will
have lovely green leaves soon. So, I might want to stitch the free
Maple Leaf Silhouette chart in a lovely shade of green.

Free Vine and Leaf Motif Cross Stitch Pattern
When I was growing up, one of my main chores was mowing the yard.
We lived on a wooded hill. Part of the yard had to be mowed rather
frequently; part of it was only cut a few times a year. One section
was particularly horrible to mow, and my Dad took mercy on me and

Free Leafy Tree Cross Stitch Pattern
The free Leafy Tree pattern is shown here as if stitched with two
floss colors, but you may want to stitch it in a single color or
multiple colors. I think it would look dramatic stitched in black
on a green fabric.

Life motifs common in Celtic and Judaic traditions. I have always

Free Color Study Cross Stitch Pattern
As you know if you are a constant reader of this blog, I enjoy
designing and stitching geometric motifs. The free Color Study
Cross Stitch Chart is an example of a larger geometric motif I plan
to stitch.

Free Candle Collection Cross Stitch Pattern
I love candles. They are so pretty. Unfortunately, my dear husband
can't stand the scented ones. To tell the truth, I don't like them
much myself. But, I love watching the flickering flames. Candles
remind me of birthdays, Christmas Eve services, and campfire
ceremonies. They are symbolic of our brief existence on this mortal
